Supervised Visits for Families
At Supervised Contact Workers, we offer supervised visits for families across both Sydney and Wollongong. Our services are child-focused and designed to ensure the child gets the opportunity to build and maintain meaningful relationships with their parents in a safe, supportive environment.
About Our Child-Focused Supervised Contact Visits
While we understand every child deserves to have a meaningful relationship with a parent they do not live with, we are also aware of the importance of making sure the child feels safe and comfortable during the process. That’s why we strive to provide a safe and secure environment for supervised contact visits and changeovers for separated parents and their children, where the child's safety is always our top priority.
Our qualified and professional contact workers make sure that the visitations are conducted in a way that is beneficial and enjoyable for the child. We focus on creating a positive atmosphere where the child can bond with their separated parent.
During the supervised visit, our staff do not provide any therapeutic support and are present solely to supervise and monitor the interactions, ensuring that the environment remains safe and supportive for the child. This allows the child and separated parent to focus on building their relationship and spending quality time with one another without any distractions or concerns.
Contact visits can be conducted in parks, play centres, community locations, other public spaces and depending on the situation, at times we can conduct residential visits. Our services also can include supervised parental access through video calling on HIPAA compliant platforms such as Zoom, and also through supervised telephone calls if a non-residential parent and child or children need to reconnect before a transition into visits.
Visits are conducted between 8am to 8pm. The supervision takes place for the entire visit and can include changeovers.
We can also provide transportation to and from the supervised visit.
