At Supervised Contact Workers, we understand that separated families may experience challenges when it comes to a child’s transition between parents or other family members. Our supervised changeovers aim to make each transition as smooth and stress-free as possible for both the child and the parents involved.
About Our Supervised Changeovers
In separated families, situations often arise where a child must transition between parents or family members who do not share day-to-day care responsibilities. We understand that face-to-face meetings can sometimes be uncomfortable for both parties involved. That's why we offer supervised changeovers as a practical solution when a child needs to be 'handed over' and 'handed back' to the parent or other family member who does not have the day-to-day care of them. At Supervised Contact Workers, we will supervise the changeover at an agreed location.
We can either facilitate or supervise the changeover. Our qualified, professional and compassionate staff are dedicated to making the transition seamless and comfortable for everyone involved. We offer either face-to-face or a non face-to-face changeover service to take place at an agreed-upon location allowing parents to avoid direct contact while still ensuring the safety and wellbeing of their child.
We offer changeovers as a standalone service and can include transportation if needed. Changeovers can also be combined with supervision according to your specific requirements.
